Well, Pete's ticked off that I haven't posted in ages so here we go. No, as some of you might ask, I'm not going to do a top 10 thing. I think making everything into lists is foolish. It restricts what you're trying to express and gives everything rank. In my opinion, the only reason Pete did so is because of High Fidelity.
Works been OK. Same thing everyday, but it's been fine because we've been picking up a lot for X-Mas and actually have something to do besides stand around talking to waitresses. On that note, the head chef is throwing a kitchen staff party at his house tomorrow. This is the only time in the last two weeks of December I'm allowing myself to drink. I've been at the bar a lot lately and it takes its toll on the wallet. A lot of other fucked up things happen when I drink too. Apparently I kissed one of our busboys (UNCONFIRMED!!!). The last 2 times I went drinking I ended up in bed with someone I work with. Nothing happened, but it showed me that drinking can really fuck with your life. By the way, this is not me saying for all you to give up alcohol. I'm just saying I should lay off a bit. ANYWAYS....
Warcraft...I think I have successfully managed to do what many people could not...And that's only play this game occasionally. It took me awhile, I was on it everyday for like 3 weeks straight, but now I haven't played in awhile.
Going back to the 934 in January. It looked like renovations at work could have fell in with my time off, but no such luck. I don't know if anyone from the 934 reads this but call me if you wanna make plans.
Haven't seen much in the way of new movies. Walk The Line was pretty good (but definitely NOT life changing). I saw a movie that was recommended to me by a bounce from work called King Of NewYork. It was mildly ok, but not great. Just a typical gangster movie. On the other hand, a waitress had me rent Suicide Kings which was very good. (Has Christopher Walken, as does King Of NewYork). And by the way, NEVER EVER rent or go see or even consider watching the movie Bewitched.
Went to visit Margot Gawley (Pete's Aunt) on the weekend a few weeks ago. It was OK. She's fun to talk to and joke around with, but I think her 3 kids (and 1 foreign exchange student) have taken their toll. She also has major renovations happening in her house which doesn't help. But on the other hand, weekend showed me how utterly out of shape I am. We went to soccer practice with Margot's kids and got shown up by all the 10 year olds.
I know no one really cares about most of the shit I'm writing about and you have to realize I mostly did this to appease all you folks who are ragging on me to blog more. There's not a lot of personal issues to go over, besides all the fucked up stuff going on at work with a couple girls who shall remain nameless. I have however expanded my musical taste and have added the first ever Rap CD to my musical archives. One of the chefs bought Red Light District by Ludacris to work a month ago and I now own the CD. I can't really name one reason I like it, because it's a combination of many things. It's kind of a cross between gangster rap, which I don't mind besides to lame assed lyrics, and new rap, which I don't mind except for the whole I-grew-up-in-a-shit-hole-and-my-life-sucks-because-I'm-famous attitude. I don't know, it's just catchy.
Well, that's been my life as of late. Nothing spectacular, but it could be worse. People always ask me how's it going in Victoria and I think the lyrics to a Neil Young song sum it up pretty good:

Everybody seems to wonder, what it's like down here
I've gotta get away from this day to day running around...
Everybody knows this is nowhere
