Matt came and visited the other week. That was freakin awesome, cuz I haven't seen him in almost a year. We hung out, went out walking a bit. Did a bar cycle which included Hugo's and Darcey's. He wasn't such a big fan of the live entertainment thee, but it was still fun. None of us had a lot to drink, but Pete still managed to almost puke from a tequila shot that never really settled. Matt said my paralyzer I was drinking looked like a sunday. Matt still wants me to move to Red Deer, and that is still not going to happen.
On the topic of moving though, Peter has pretty much decided to stay in Vic for the summer because his work will be busy ($). This helps me a lot since I won't have to worry about moving out and going to Mexico all in May.
Erin and I went and saw Matador the other week. It was a pretty good movie. Nice change from Pierce Brosnan's usual "007" role. It was pretty funny, but also just a good movie in general. Matt bought out 40 Year Old Virgin and The Wedding Crashers when he visited. Two very good movies in my opinion. Maybe if I'm feeling up to it I'll go buy 40 Year Old Virgin cause it was so good. On the other hand, Tyler gave me a massive list of movies to watch. So far most of them were good. War of the Worlds was utter shit, but Butterfly Effect was ok, Vanilla Skies was ok, and Shawshank Redemption was pretty good. I'm not going to buy Vanilla Skies or Butterfly Effect, way too far fetched, but I will buy Shawshank if I get the chance.
Not too much to say in the music department. I've been listening to a lot of Tom Petty again. I know I say that a lot, but he's so good. I bought The Best Of Prince, which is an excellent album. Katie will be upset because I didn't buy The Hits collection, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Listening to a lot of Loreena McKennitt while on the computer. Really good Celtic singer if anyone's interested. Download her songs Breaking The Silence or Annachie Gordon.
Anyways, there is not much else to say. I'll leave you with another recipe of my drink of the week
